Hey, I have a 69 rs ss that I have had ralley wheels on for about 4 years. When I bought the car it had 16" Torque Thrust wheels on it with tires that were to skinny. (8" rear 7" front 4" backspace on all). I'm thinking 255/50 rear and 225/50 fronts. Any suggestions? I'm also going to lower the front end 1 or 2 inches.

 

Unclear - are you putting the new tires on the Rally wheels, or on the "too skinny" Torque Thrusts?? If its the Rally wheels, what are the widths?

 

I'm putting them on the Torque Thrusts. 8" wide rears and 7" wide fronts
