4th generation wheels???

Question 4th generation wheels???

Will 4th generation camaro wheels fit on a 3rd generation camaro?? i've heard that they would but you have to use wheel spacers is this true??

The bolt circle is the same, so they will bolt on. Problem is the offset/backspace. The 3rd Gens had a rear axle assembly that is 3" narrower than the 4th Gens, so the wheels typically have a 1.5" smaller backspace on a 3rd Gen, than they do on a 4th Gen. The puts the 4th Gen wheel too deep in the 3rd Gen fenders. To correct this, you would need a 1" to 1.5" bolt-on spacer.

just about any tire shop should be able to sell you spacers

Are they required on the front too? I have an '85 IROC that I am putting a set of salad shooters on.

They are required on all 4 corners and you need to use bolt on spacers, not slip on. I don't even think they make 2" slip on spacers, but if they did I would not run those.
