315's whatdo i need to do?
i just got 315 bfg drag radials and i know my friend had to cut something off in the fender to put his on but its lowerd. is there andthing that needs to be trimed or removed? thanks
You may or may not need to do any work on your car. All cars are different, so it all depends. But you'll most likely need to grind down the bumpstop and bang the inner fender wall a little bit. Just put the wheel with the tire on and mark the locations where the tire is near the inner fender.
If the wheels are 11"wide and 50mm offset you will have some rubbing on the inner wheel well. I should take pics I guess. You need to drive it for 50-75 miles and then jack the car up and look where they rub. Be sure and hit some hard corners to make sure you get the most evidence of rubbing. Grab a rubber mallot and bang hard.
i just added 17x11 ZR1's to my car in the rear. The are 50 MM offset. I had the bumpstops cut completely off the car and did not have to do any hammering to the fenderwells.
I have 315/35 Nitto DR's. NO rubbing problems
