315/35/17s fit if lowered??????

Hey, Im trying to find out if I can fit 315/35/17s in the rear of my 99 Z with it being lowered? Im not sure on how much it was lowered, it was already done when I bought it? Has anyone lowered their car with that size tire?

All responses appreciated,
Thanks,
Wayne

I would suggest an adjustable PHB (NOT POS BMR) to recenter your rear after doing 315's and lowering the rear.

yes you'd be fine. you may have to roll your fenders a bit if you get any rubbing. you'll typically feel some rubbing with 2 people over ~200lbs; or a lot of rubbing with 3 people.

I'm running that size on my 94Z convetible with Eibach Pro Kit springs... about a 1.5" drop. Rubs every now and then... need to take them back off and get a bigger hammer

I have 335/35/zr17's with sportlines. I had to do some ajustments to keep them from rubbing, but i havent rolled my fenders. the rim is what actually got in the way, not the tire. I had to relocate my bumpstops because they were hitting the inside of the wheel. a little custom work and a little comfort loss when driving but they look awsome.

They were more work than i thought, I had to lift the rear to keep them from hitting. I'm still able to fry them good tho. you get the AT's on? I need to see some pics of them on your car.

Heh, im not surprised by that, they were more work than i thought. Alot of time spent trying to get them to stop rubbing. I ended up taking out lowering springs. I got the wheels on today ill e-mail you some pics tomorrow when i download them.
