275/40/17 tires for 17x9 wheels

Wondering what 275/70/17 tires people are running on their 4th gens. In the market for a set for my newly restored SLP ZR1 wheels going on my 1997 SS SLP Camaro. TIA.

...that all depends on what you plan to do with the car...I run 275/40/17 Nitto NT05 on all 4 corners. It's a softer compound, only lasts around 10K miles. I wouldn't drive it in the rain, but GRIPS the road well in the dry. My Z is a garage queen unfortunately, so no those negatives don't bother me at all...

Thanks for the suggestion. I happen to run Nitto NT05's on my 2010 SS/RS Camaro which sees street driving and track day weekends. Great tire but I was looking for something less competition oriented, better ride, quieter, etc for my 97 SS. Any one have any long term feedback on Nitto's 555 G2 tire?
