Question 245 vs 250 ratio

Can I put GOODYEAR GS-C 245/45/16 on my stock 95Z rims?

It currently has the stock GSC 245/50s. What's the implication of changing the aspect ratio from 250 to 245?

aspect ratio is the middle number which is what you want changed int he first sentece. Going down to a 45 ratio will make the sidewall shorter by approx 12.5mm (half and inch). So In total youw ill have a 1" diameter loss in the tire. Not sure how it might affect the Speedometer.

Here is a size calculator I found on google: http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobi...e_diameter.htm

Yes, the tire is 1" smaller in diameter than the stock 245/50-16 size. That means you lose 1/2" of ground clearance, and the gap between the tires and the fender grows by 1/2". Your speedo will read 4% higher than actual speed, or 62.4 indicated MPH at a true 60MPH. Every time you drive 1000 miles, your odometer will add 1040 miles. You could correct the speedo and odometer with a PCM program.
