245/45/17?

Will these fit on OEM ZR1s with no issues? I know they will fit, but will they look stupid?

Most manufacturers recommend a wheel no wider than 9.0" for a 245/45-17. Your basic ZR1 is 9.5" wide. The tire will not provide optimum perfomance, and may look a little "stretched" on that wide a wheel. The tire will provide very little protection for the edge of the wheel.

Take it from me, they will indeed fit but they look stupid as hell. You will kick yourself in the *** once you get them mounted. And as Injuneer stated, it will offer no protection what-so-ever from curb rash. Just spend the little extra money and get the 275's. I do have pictures of it if you are really interested in seeing what it looks like.

Well heres the problem. Some ******* decided to slam his brakes on last night, resulting in me swerving and hitting the curb to miss him. Front and rear tire is blown out, and my buddy has a set that he will let go for cheap. I was just gonna put the 275 that is on the other front on the rear, and the 245s on the front. Also, I thought the OEM ZR1s are 9"? If you have pics that would be great.

If you can get them at a really cheap price and you need tires bad, then go for it. The SLP version of the ZR1's are in fact 9" while most other aftermarket rims are 9.5". It really shouldn't make much of a difference. Go to my webshots page and look under the chrome ZR1 albums. There should be plenty of shots there for you to see what they look like mounted on a 9" rim.
