You have to ignore some of the ignorant people on here because you can make 20" wheels look good on an f body. It has to be a classy wheel though. If you had a ghetto/bling bling wheel in mind, then dont do it because its NOT going to look right. But if your willing to fork out some money for a nice set of wheels the results can be amazing. Ill just post a few pics that I was able to dig up.

Exactly. Hmm...big wheels that are show only, heads and cam, or forced induction? Or if you're like me you'd add these choices, a few $K for investments, pay more on the house so it'll be paid off earlier, pay off car, take a vacation, buy the wife something and mod with the rest, or stash it away for a rainy day.

Unlike imports, most people seem to buy f-bodies more for performance over bling, so truck sized wheels aren't popular. IMO the same good looks can be had with 18's then you'd still have cash left over to mod the suspension and get the right stance. Plus your brakes won't look so overwhelmed sitting inside the cavernous wheels

I have to agree, thats a very good price for those Nittos. Goes to prove those bastages are price gouging on the 275/40/17.

If it wasn't for huge performance loss I would of gone with 20'' in the rear and 19'' in the front. The five pictures confirm that no 17'' rims come close in terms of looks. That's just my opinion.

What the hell is over done about it? I see what appears to be a black or dark grey camaro with a aftermarket hood, wheels, and ground effects.

If you think that's over done then I can't imagine what you think is plain.

Re: 20 inch wheels on 02?

Just post up a pic or link to the wheels you had in mind. People get all caught up in how a certain size is going to look and seem to neglect whether the wheel design itself even looks good on the car to begin with. If a wheel looks like crap on your car in a 17", increasing it to a 20" isn't gonna help matters...

That's whistlers car. Do a search on whistler and you should come up with more pictures of it. His ground effects are molded, the hood is hand maid carbon fiber, custom targa top, and a corvette taillight conversion. His car is gorgeous and you'll never pass one like it on the road. I woulnd't do it all to my car(I think GM did good the first time) but I definetly respect and admire his work.

I agree, it looks like he did good work, but I don't care for it either.

No turn signals makes it look more catfishy.
