Yea, exactly. Not running them anymore have torque thrust wheels. I have 4 with center caps and tires 1 of 4 tires good.

Are they rare can't find any details on them?

 

The Camaro White Book indicates in 1996 they (RPO "N98") were ordered on 4,871 Z28's. In 1996 there were 17,844 Z28’s in total. 1996 was the only model year the chrome "salad shooters" were offered.

The fact that someone on eBay is asking $170 for a single wheel, when you probably could barely give away the non-chrome version, would seem to indicate they are fairly rare, at least in decent condition like the one in the picture.

 

What is the camaro white book? 96 only, interesting. My rims are excellent shape.

What else came equipped the N98 orders?

 

There is a newer version covering to 2011, and an older version that only covered thru 1997.

N98 was only the "Chrome Aluminum Wheels, 16-inch $500.00”. N98 continued in future years thru 2000, but 1996 was the only year for the 2-spoke.

How many SS camaro's were ordered?

 

1996, first year of the 4th Gen SS (RPO “R7T”) was ordered on 2,257 Z28’s.

The rare options are the 1LE performance package (55 ordered) and the B4C "special service" (police) Package (228 ordered).

Will give you the build date, a complete breakdown of all the service parts and option codes, and the number of cars built with each item. Then they give you an estimate of how "rare" your car is. But too many cars come up "1 of 1", because they are breaking it down based on numerous details like the RPO codes for each of the four individual suspension coil springs.
