1995 Camaro Front Tire Size

I have the stock size tires on right now but would like to go with something wider on the front. Can anyone tell me how wide can i go before the tires start to rub?
Thanks

What is your current (stock) tire size?

There were 3 different stock tire sizes on the 95's.... 215/60-16 on 16 x 7.5" wheels on the V6's, 235/55-16 on the base V8 models on 16 x 8" wheels and as an upgrade on the V6's, and 245/50-16 on the V8's with the Z-rated tire option.

I have the 235/55-16. I was hoping to put something like a 255/50-16 on the front but i am not sure if they would be too wide and rub the fender wall.

You will not have any problem with a 255/50-16. There are many of us running 275/40-17's in the front with no problems, and the stock tires on the WS6 and SS coupes are 275/40-17. The car is designed for 275's.
