18x9.5 +49 offset instead of +56
18x9.5 +49 offset instead of +56
my wheels now are 18x9.5 with a 56mm offset. I Found wheels, same size, but 49mm offset. now I can imagine them working on the rear, but what about the fronts, especially when I lower it. it seems like a tight fit as is and can see where it rubs already
tire size is 275/35/18

Re: 18x9.5 +49 offset instead of +56
7mm is a shade over 1/4". I've run a set of OZ Racing Monte Carlo's, 17x9.5 with a 49mm offset, on all 4 corners, with 275/40-17 tires. There were no rubbing problems of any kind when the car was at normal ride height.
The only time I ever got any rubbing at all is when I temporarily dropped the front end by 1.8". Then the tire would rub in the inner plastic fender liner, IF the wheels were approaching full lock AND I hit a bump at the same time.
