Time to buy a set of tires for my 18x9.5in Z06s. I have F1s on there right now, not the best in the world, but for just daily driving they work for me. Whats a good set of in-expensive tires to get? Im not looking for anything spectacular, just good wear rating, and something that fills the wheel up well. Im running 275-40-18s right now. What do you suggest?

I've had Kumho Ecsta MX's which are pretty cheap and they performed great for what they cost. Now I'm running Nittos extreme performance 555 tires which are also pretty impresive for the price. My next set will be some drag radials though. Both of the above are good tires for the money in my opinion and the MX's lasted 19,XXX miles with quite a few burnouts and agressive driving. Those are if you are looking for something cheap!

 

ive run kumhos, nittos and falkens -

been really happy with my kumhos ecstas for the price - plus mine came with 30k warranty which is unheard of for 18's

 

On your 18's, did you guys go with a 40 or 35 series profile on your tires?

 

i have 40 just cause i dont like low profiles- but it is throwing my speedo off

 

Wheres the best price for tires on the net?

I'm running 245/40-18's up front and 285/35-18's in the back. I got my Nittos from discount tire and my Kumhos from tirerack only because they came with my wheels.
