17x9.5 and 18x9.5 same offset/back spacing?

I am looking on buying a set of Torq Thrust II's. I am not sure whether or not to get them in 17x9.5 or 18x9.5. I know the 17x9.5 Torq Thrust II's have an offset of 46mm and a backspace of 7.00". If I want a set of 18x9.5 do I look for the same offset and backspace (46mm/7.00")??? Thanks much!

Yes... it is only width that determines the required offset/backspace. You can use the TT II offset/backspace, and that puts the edge of the tire toward the edge of the fender. I have also used 9.5" wide wheels with 49mm and 56mm offsets, and they work fine. Those two will move the wheel/tire 0.12" to 0.40" deeper into the fender.
