17X9 to 17X11????please help

17X9 to 17X11????please help

right now i have the ss 10 spokes and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to make a 17X 9 into a 17X11 professionally done. how safe is it. where is it possible....im in texas and how much does it cost

it is possible, alot of people have it done, theres a handfull of guys on this board that have had it done. Hopefully one of them will chime in, as i have no idea where or how much

The shop he mentions does excellent work. A friend of mine had his wheels narrowed by the shop, and they were a work of art.

Problem with "widening" a wheel is that the extra width has to be added in the back of the wheel, creating an excessive backspace that requires spacers, or possibly modifications to the LCA's, etc., and leaves you with the outside of the wheel looking just as shallow as it did before you had them widened. Read the article linked above - he expalins it all.
