17x11 offset?

17x11 offset?

im getting a set of ZR1 17x11 for the rear of my trans am its been lowerd in the rear and front which would be the best offset to use??...ive searched the forums and sticky post on here and didnt really know what i need to know thanks

The recommended offset is included in the FAQ. It doesn't change if the car is lowered. Just makes it more important to check all the clearances on the inner fender liners and the fender lips, and possibly do a bit more hammering. The use of an adjustable panhard rod also becomes a factor, since lowering the car pushes the body toward one side (off-center), relative to the rear axle assemlby, and adjusting the panhard rod length pulls the body back to center over the rear axle assembly.
