17 x 9 inch wheels (SS)

ok, heres the deal, i bought a pair of 98 SS wheels off of a friend ( off of his 98 SS so they're GM) and they are 17 x 9 with a 50mm offset. My question is, what should i buy for 2 more wheels? the 50mm offset will work on the front correct? Ive got the 9s, so should i buy another set of 9s,or 9.5s for the back?

front 17 x 9? which offset?

rear 17 x 9 ? which offset?

rear 17 x 9.5 and which offset

pretty much, will the ones i bought work ont eh front or back, and what other two should i buy? and the offset?

i get confused cuz theres a lot of differences it seems like.

Factory SS and WS6 wheels for all years are 17x9" 55mm offset. They will fit fine on your car, front and back, just like they fit on the SS.

One possible problem is the fact that on the early years of the 4th Gen (up to late 96/early 97) the diameter of the raised hubs on the rear axles is larger than the diameter of the front hubs. To fit late 97 and newer factory wheels on your 95, you will probably have to sand out the inner diameter of the rear wheels, to fit over the rear axle hubs. You would have to do all 4 wheels, if you plan to rotate the tires in the future.

As far as picking up 2 more wheels, match the ones you have. Not sure if anyone even makes a repro 17x9.5" 98 SS wheel. If they do, any offset from 45mm to 56mm will work.
