17/18 Chrome Z06 wheel help

Guys, I purchased a set of corvette z06 wheels...17 in the front and 18 in the rear. I have a question, the rear tires are 295/35/18, with an offset of 56mm...will they rub? Also, can I get away with a set of 2" sportline eibach springs? or do I have to go with a set of eibach pro kits?

What's the width of the 18" rear wheels? They can't be factory, because the factory wheels are 18x10.5" 58mm offset. With a 9.5" wide wheel, 56mm works fine. With a 10.5" wide wheel a 56mm offset puts the inside edge of the tire close to the inner fender.... may of may not rub, may or may not catch on the jounce bumper bracket when you jack the rear.

The width of the 18's are 10.5. These are the wheels that I purchased on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-17...1659QQtcZphoto

If these wheels do infact rub, do you suggest some sort of a wheel spacer? It seems like you know a lot about wheels/offsets, what would be your suggestion?

Go to the Wheel & Tire FAQ and read the post about mounting 17x11.0" 50mm offset wheels on a 4th Gen. You will have to face the same **possible** problems. A 1/4" spacer would recenter the wheels in the wheel wells and probably eliminate any rubbing or catching the wheels on the jounce bumper bracket. But you would have to check the length of your stock studs to see if they are aequate for spacers.

I had to "massage" my inner wheel well to clear my ZO6 rims, 18x10.5 in the rear with the same rubber. I had to cut the bumper thing too, but did not have to roll the outer fender edge.
You most likely will have to modify, but with that big of tire in the rear it looks bad @ss and is so worth the trouble!
