15x10

Hey guys, anyone know what kind of spacing you need on a 15x10 to run a 28x12.5? Already got the inner fender shaved and fenders rolled cause I have 315/35/17's now. Thanks guys, any help would be great!

Re: 15x10

Look at the Wheels & Tires FAQ - Drag. I run a 15x10 7.5" backspace Pro-Star, with a 28x10.5-15W ET Drag. That tire has a 28.1" diameter, and a 13.1" sidewall width.

By comparison, the 28x12.5-15 ET Street has the same diameter, and a 12.6" sidewall width. You would need to do the same things I did (although these cars seem to vary an awful lot with regard to the rear wheel wells). I already had hammered my fenders for 315/35's, and move the axle back about 1/4" when running QTP 28x11.5's. The only thing I had to do with the 28x10.5-15W's was cut about an inch off the leading edge of the rubber bumper cover, and hammer the fender sheet metal point that it right behind it. The ET Drags seemed to grow more than the QTP's, when we took it up to 130MPH on the dyno. But I was running tubes in the ET Drags, so that might have changed things.
