Re: 15x10?

and by the way a 27x10x15 hoosier should fit on a 15x8 right. that is what i have and didnt know for sure if the new slicks would fit or not. they messure 10 inches from bead to bead but the tread is like 12 so i didnt know if they would fit or not.

Re: 15x10?

yeah, those tires will fit a 15x8. Why did you ask about 15x10's if you already have 15x8's?

Re: 15x10?

What Hoosiers are you running? The don't make any 27" slicks (at least they don't show any on their website), and the QTP size is 27x10.5-15. That tire fits on a wheel 8" to 10" wide. When mounted on an 8" wheel, the section width is 11.2", and the tread width is 10", which doesn't seem to match your description.

On the 15" wheels, the 15x8 Telstars will not hit the brake calipers. The Weld Draglites or Pro-Stars will require grinding the brake fins. And it doesn't matter what backspacing you use, they will still hit the fins. Its the center disc, where it rolls over to form the rim that hits on the Welds.

For an 8" wide wheel, use a 5.5" backspace. For the 10" wide wheel, use a 7.5" BS.
