10 Spoke SS Wheels
I have a 1989 S-10 2wd I was wanting to put a set of Silver 10 Spoke SS wheels has anyone done this. I was wondering what size spacer will I have to use to make it work. And what size tires should I run. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The stock 10 spoke SS wheels are 17x9.5 with the offset being 57mm. For a wheel of this size, I would recommend 275/40/R17 tires. I do not know what the correct offset is for an S-10 so I can't really help you there. If you can find out this information, it would greatly benefit you. If you have the opportunity, I would test fit the wheels on your vehicle to see if there will be any rubbing issues.
The 4th Gen SS and WS6 factory wheels are 17 x 9.0" with a 50mm offset.
How does the width of the S10 rear axle assembly compare to the width of a 3rd Gen F-Body rear axle width? A 3rd Gen F-Body needs 1.5" to 2" inch adapters on each side to use 4th Gen wheels.
Try Skulte Performance.... they may know the dimensions:
