WTT: My '94 black A4 Z28 for your crotch rocket

Not definite yet, but I'm guaging interest in trading my '94 Camaro Z28, black, A4, 115k miles for someone's crotch rocket.

It's in great condition, tranny rebuilt a few months before I bought it (so less then a year ago), runs perfect, paint is less then a year old, although unforunately the bumper could use a repaint as some jackass in a parking lot hit the bumper and scraped off some paint (I touched it up but still could use a repaint). Mods are in the sig. It's only been raced at the strip once (honestly, lol) and ran a 13.4, so it's obviously in good running condition.

Depending on the bike, I'd either trade straight up, or trade for the bike + a little cash. I'm interested in a GSX-R, CBR, or R6, 98 or newer, good condition.

Once again it's not definite, but if someone responds to this and is interested I'll be a lot more serious about it.

Why am I doing this? I love my f-bodies, but I want something that still has the fun factor, and gets good gas mileage, seeing as how I drive damn near 40 miles to and from work every weekday, and with that, gas alone is simply making me BROKE!

So, anyone have any interest?

Yea, bike gets better gas mileage but you have no heat, ac or radio. Also is this your first bike?

if you're doing it simply to save money, you might want to do a little more homework.

1. plan to spend at LEAST $400 for cheap gear, and thats kinda stupid if you ask me. between a 1pc suit, leather jacket, race boots, gloves, and helmet i've probably spent $1200.

2. if/when you crash, some or all of that gear will probably be toast.

3. tires only last 3-5k miles, and are $250 a set

4. you need to change the oil every 3k miles, and it still costs about $35 for good motorcycle oil and a filter.

5. chain & sprockets will last 10-12k miles if you don't wheelie, but what are the odds of that? fork over another $120.

6. you'll need stands to work on your bike $100+

7. you will get lots of tickets.

8. get theft insurance, bikes are easy to steal.

i thought getting a bike was cheap fun, but it adds up quick, and thats not even counting mods to the bike. once you get a bike, cars will no longer mean anything to you. cars lean the wrong way.

I think spin doctor said it all. I recently got my motocycle license and it was more than I ever dreamed it would be. After buying boots gloves and other stuff to ware. And there are way more preventative mantence than a car will ever have. But driving a motorcycle is way more fun than driving a car just the only thing I don't like is no radio but its all good. Chicks dig guys on motorcycles

ps what part of spring do you live in I"m pretty close to Aldine Westfield and FM 1960
