yesterday my car got stuck in 3rd gear, i took it to lethal performance down here in SA, and there gonna let me know whats wrong w it tomorrow, but if i can find a good T-56 for a reasonable price id be itnerested in doing that instead of possibly having to get mine rebuilt, let me know ASAP if you have one ,i would need it soon, but i could wait if need be, feel free to PM me, thanks

I have one out of my 96 Trans Am. I just did a 6 speed to Th-400 conversion. The tranny works perfectly and has 85K miles on it.

I will sell it to you for $ 800.00 I'm located in Houston.

Re: wtb: T-56

I had my LS1 based T56 trans rebuilt by Jason at txdrivetrain.com for $500

Quick turn around and really nice work.

Sounds to me like the syncro has played its last. I had that happen about a week ago. It sucks. I got it out of gear, but it was acting nasty all after words though. I hope to get it back from the shot today or tomarrow.
