Only mine is last years model, the 6600 I believe, and mine does not play mp3's and wav files and all...just CD's....it is mint, I just upgraded...

Re: wtb: cd player
I know your pain man, my Bose CD player just quit a few weeks ago for no reason and I'm about to go nuts too. I want to upgrade but I don't have the funds to replace everything like I'd have to.
How much would a decent stock, working bose cd player go for?

i have a 2005 sony xplod 52w x 4, 2 preamp outs, plays CDR/CDRW MP3 WMA. has wiring connectors to connect to the back of the headunit to splice into factory harness. needs a mounting kit to fit in firebird or camaro stock location as it is smaller. any universal mounting kit for the right year gm car will work. walmart carries em cheap.
