I'm seriously thinking about purchasing a 'cam kit' off of a fellow board member. Here's everything included:

-XE 227/233 .111 LSA
-cmotorsports hardened pushrods
-Comp lifters
-EX612 springs w/ all retainers and locks

Im also replacing the timing set and adding some 7/16" studs to my rockers. I'm definitely wanting to do this install myself and wanted to see if anyone else would be up for lending a hand/watching me f*ck up/drink beer/curse/talk about girls/etc

Ill watch and throw a hand in every once in a while but ive never done a cam install, so i wouldnt be much help besides running to get the beer

your position as the all-important 'beer getter' is more crucial than you may think...

 

...especially if the install goes awry. Maybe i should just bring the truck to haul beer in?

 

yeah i just got done removing my old front bumper cover and replacing it with a brand new re-painted one. that was enough of a PITA in itself.

i have yet to work on a car and drink...at all! ill definitely have to see how the alcohol consumption helps me through the busted knuckles and the chunking of the deep sockets
