Wanted 3rd Gen Camaro Project car
Wanted 3rd Gen Camaro Project car
Like the title says, I am looking for a very cheap 3rd gen as a project car for my wife. Anyone know of something with a relatively straight body for like a couple hundred bucks.
Thanks
Thanks
Damn, a couple hundred huh? I was about to say I had the perfect thing for you. The IROC in the sig is straight, had a fender bender in the front, but frame wasn't touched. Great car, I've basically replaced everything in it that can be replaced for less than a couple hundred bucks. The only problem with it is the engine rings are worn, so it smokes some when it sits in idle for more than a few minutes, no other times. Other than that it's got no major problems. Interior is nice, paint is decent(looks good when washed and waxed), mods on it are pretty good, too. It gets over 20 mpg with the mods in the sig! Tell me what you think, I'd like to sell this so I can upgrade to a 4th gen.
I'm lookin to get $3K for it, but would take offers.
LMK,
Kyle

Are you looking for something gutted? You really wont find many 3rd gens (even the early ones) for less that $1k...unless they are just a shell.
If you are just looking for a body, let me know. I can check with a guy I know that parts 3rd gens out from time to time...
Later.

That's what I assumed. What is a shell? I would like something that at least rolls, even if it doesn't run.

FYI... If ya think about it...the engine (305 or 350) alone on a 3rd gen is probably worth $300-$500 if parted out... brakes, tires/wheels, rear axle, etc.... These cars are starting to become a little more scarce too, so that makes it harder.
