V6 Rear Drum to Disc brake conversion, I Need Help
I’ve been wanting to do this for a while. Can I just go down to AutoZone and buy the rear brake assembly for a Z28, basically remove the drums and hook up the rear disc assembly to the current brake lines? Does the master brake cylinder for a V6 need to be replaced or will it work? Do I need new brake lines? Has anyone done this? Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated because im a bit clueless on the subject. Thanks

yea, they will hook up to the factory lines.. you will need the calipers, ebrake cables, brake backing plates, and pads. its a pretty easy swap. pull the axles out, install brake plates, reinstall axles, install ebrake cables, install calipers.
