Try 100...

I've done the Hot Rod Power Tour, and at one point we had a line as long as you could see running 100 plus between OK city and Amarillo. The slower traffic eventually all got in the right lane when they saw us comming so we didn't have to carve much traffic. It was way too cool. Is anyone working on a meeting point for Austin yet? I'm in, and SStupid I'll give ya a ride back to Round Rock.

Great

Great! I'll probably need that ride. I'm bound to break something. It's not that my car has a lot of torque or anything, it's just the way my luck runs. My girlfriend is going, so something will just HAVE to break. I wonder how much a tow from Ennis to Austin is. I don't wanna know.

I know the feeling.
I am nervous to swap rear ends before the trek up there. As I don't think the stock cogs are gonna make a sustained high speed trip. They are whining like crazy. Not to mention for a comfortable ride, noiseless gears would be a real asset.
...And replacing the stock front speakers (Monsoon)

Anyone know where I can get those items here in town?

With the kind of power numbers you're putting out, AHART, I would trailer it as well. I can't wait to meet some of you guys that I see posting here all the time.

YEEEEEHAAAA!!! Let's go support one of the WORST aftermarket companies in the nation!! No thanks, I'd rather pay $100 entry fee to watch a burnout contest in the parking lot of an organization like Thunderracing or TByrne.

I-35 corridor

It's obvious that everyone needs to meet on the I-35 corridor. It needs to be a place with a LARGE parking lot. It's going to be early in the morning and a Sat, so patrons shouldn't be a problem. I have a suggestion, but I'm not sure if I can reach everyone.

There is a new Go-Cart track open here in Round Rock that has a HUGE parking lot. The building used to be a Walmart, or something. IT's right on the highway and it will fit a lot of cars. I will get the exit number today and post it. IF anybody has any other ideas, lets hear them. It's getting close, so we need to make a decision on place and time.

Just let us Austin boys know where to meet ya. I've never drag raced before, so it ought to be kind of funny. If I break something, somebody will have to give me a ride home.
Just don't what one bonehead did last year, staged too deep so
he backed it up, and FORGOT to put it back in Forward, that was
funny.

RPM Indoor Racing

Gauging interest here. How about all Austin people meeting at RPM Indoor Racing parking lot in Round Rock, TX. Round Rock is attached to the north end of Austin on I-35. The exit would be #251, Business 35, Round Rock. You take the exit, go to the light that is South Mays, take a left to the light across the highway, take another left at that light and head back north on the feeder road of I-35 for about 1/8 mile and the entrance is on the right next to a Burger King. There is a huge parking lot and we can just loop back aroung to get back on the highway. Does this sound good? Any other ideas?

Yes SA will be meeting at the Best Buy in the Forum on I-35 and 1604 and leaving at 5am (be there at 4:45am). We should hit Austin by about 6:30am or 6:45am.
