Granted its still a bit early, but a couple others have asked about where to meet here in SA for the trip to Austin, and then Ennis.

So, this thread is for meet locations. As posted before, my first pick would be...
Nacogdoches exit of 1604, and meet in parking lot of
Wal-Mart at Whataburger?
-Easy to exit,
-Easy to get back on the highway,
-Just a couple exits ahead is the turn for I-35 towards Austin.
-And it's a big enough parking lot that we will easily find each other and won't be cramped?

To top it off, Wal-Mart has a 'last chance' gas station, if you are running late or want to top off the tank. Their gas is usually the cheapest (SAM'S Club)
Now that I'm thinking about it, Wal-Mart should also carry oils and lubricants if you need to check and fill right there in the parking lot....I'm bringing shop rags (feel free to use),
or if you just can't survive a long trip without a brand new Coconut air freshener, they'll have you covered.

And for food, there is that Whataburger, and just up the road about a 1/8th mile is a Sonic
...so you even have a choice as to which greasy burger you want to down!

That's my suggestion, but it don't matter to me where we meet.

and i vote for a meet somewhere off of 35. like that adult video place for last minute choice magazine selections for the passangers. j/k

Well, 35 would be good too. Since that is more of a straight shot to Austin.

I-35 and Judson is a SAM'S club lot, where the Ricers hang out on Friday. It has a full on Tiger-Mart right beside it

Also, what time is everyone planning to LEAVE from SLP track day in Ennis? How many are staying the night? How many leaving Early, leaving late? I haven't decided yet, so curious to know what everyone else has planned.
