I haven't seen a post in a while, and just wondered who is still heading up there?? The weather is looking pretty nice, and my school schedule has allowed me some time, so I'm thinking of going. Is everyone still meeting up on the NE side of town...5:45?? Also, who will be coming back that same day? I want to leave that afternoon, and was hoping to get a group going in case the cars aren't cooperative.

Yeah Ken I'll run you in the grand am. Let me bolt on the MIG jet engine while I'm at it . I'll probably be riding up there with Clark. I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell that my car will be back before Saturday. Oh well at least I get to do all of the filming and should be able to get some nice videos going.

Just the Austin guys but we're radioing ahead and they will meet up with us on the road. The Corpus guys never really responded.

We are coming back that same night. I think several other people are also coming back as well. There should be a small caravan headed back sometime in the afternoon.

Is anyone taking a CB? Or just Cheapy Radio's? Also, is anyone (other than myself) planning on taking a trunk tracker (aka Police scanner)?

 

I'm taking my scanner as well. I'll be the tech junkie there. A lot of stuff to carry but it will be worth it.

 

Ryan, I and both our ladies will be making the trip the night before. We will be staying up in some town called Waxachie or close to that spelling. See you all up there the next morning. We should be rolling through the gates around 9:00Am in the morning. We will have a 2002 White Xterra with a car trailer behind it. Ryan's 94 Z and my 97 TA should be right next to it or be running down the track

are camaros and firebirds fast cars? Can they go faster than my cousin's best freinds sister in law's neon? With the NOS, the only car that can beat it would be a turbo eclipse. American cars suck.

I know this is kind of late and stupid of me to post this but Im interested in going down there myself. I've never been to an SLP appreciation day before. Do I NEED to register? I've overheard that if i do register I'd get an SLP T-shirt but do I have to register to get in there? I dont know if this is going to make a difference or not but im not planning on showing off my car there... so whats the deal here.. can I still make it?

I didnt have a chance to meet up at Sonic 8PM tuesday, although I should of that way I would of had a better understanding of whats going on. I had 4 Exams this week (3 on the same day) so I was in pretty tight schedule.

I've spoke to mart at a car show on last friday and he said that I should contact Bloodztone at the texas lounge. So maybe you could help me out?
