Performance Shops in Houston?
Performance Shops in Houston?
I have a 1993 Camaro Z28 that has been under the weather for a bit now. Small problems have plagued me since I started attending Sam Houston in August. I've struggled to find a good mechanic as I have not been able to work on the car myself due to a lack of tools and time. Well, very recently, all hell broke loose, and now the fuel pump is going out. I would have thought that the pump was the problem, but it is still getting 40lbs of pressure to the rail. Something is causing the car to run too rich. The car has been at a respectable mechanic for the past 2 weeks, and he hasn't been able to come up with anything, and hes pretty much given up. At this point, I think the right thing to do would be to bring the car to someone who specializes in LT1/LS1s. Can anyone give me the name/number/website of a good shop in town that specializes in LT1s? Any info is greatly appreciated.
