I was out in east texas just north of Mt Pleasant and was just going through the gears at 11pm and backed off when my radar detector lit up all lights and then saw the lights come on. I looked
down and saw only 70 when I hit the breaks to slow down. he was about 50 or so, asked me what the hurry was and that night speed limit is 65 and I was 9 over. I told I swear I was thought I was doing only 70, he checked the usual , and didn't notice or say a thing about front plate, asked if that was a borla cat back........that got me wondering. he told me he had a 2 nd gen and knew how these things get going, we where BSing for 15 mins I think when he handed me a warning and farewell.

I wish they all where that understanding!

 

you haven't met any of the ones out of the hurst office have you? they are all pretty cool guys. they get all excited when they tell a story about driving the B4C camaros.

 

Which trooper was it?

 

I was pulled over by a DPS Trooper for 77 in a 70, he told me to close my cut-out when I got home and he let me go. I was stunned because I was doing more than 77mph.

He investigated the wreck which totalled my Z, and was asking about the various mods. Very cool guy IMO, One of the other troopers here Had a Blown LT4 Vette, but I haven't seen that car in over a year.
