K guys looking for a 454 motor running or not. Decided to scrap another 383 build and do a strip only third gen. I need a 454 block for my 496 buildup. Got cash in hand for a good candidate. Will drive pretty much anywhere in central texas, as far west as San Antonio and north as far as Dallas.

 

how bout a local motor ? I know where one is in Bryan.

i have a buddy who bought a complete 454 to rebuild a while back. He is now wanting to get rid of it as it is just taking up space. I know the motor is all standard and has never been rebuilt. If you are interested let me know.

i know of a guy who has a bare block if your interested, and i mean just a block and i belive its been resleaved, but not sure just know that he had 2 427 and a 454. if your intereested in a bare block let me know ill pass along his number

well what id recomend you do is vsit some chevelle boards or other muscle car boards. there is a junk yard that is very small in the middle of the gheto in dallas that was supose to get a truck load of big blocks in. sorry i dont remember the name of it i just remeber that it had a pimps car with bullet holes in it
