Post need clutch/tranny work done

anyone know a good place in SA,preferably, that can do good job with clutch or tranny. I am having lots of problems disengaging my clutch when speed or power shifting, no problems when granny shifting. I think my clutch never got bled properly when installed. I have a SPEC stage 2 clutch. Holds excellent and not clutch clatter or anything just not disengaging quickly. Shoudl I get an adjustable slave or master? Thanks.

Are you running the stock master? Did you do the drill mod to remove the restrictor in the stainless line? That may help on the power shifting. Helped mine on the stock clutch.

Pedro, Ezells is working on my clutch. I went with an aftermarket slave that doesn't seem to work well with the mcleod adjustable therefore I may be selling my adjustable master in case you are interested.

If you need someone to work on your car I would contact Richard at Ezells. He knows ALOT about the LS1.

If it's a bleeding issue, you can do that yourself without doing anything major. Find a lift or put it on jack-stands...look for the braided line that goes to the slave. Just above that is another "hole" in the tranny casing. In this hole is the bled valve for the slave. Bleed it just like you would bleed your brakes. I recently had the same hard shifting problem, but it turned out being a problem with the design of my clutch. Good luck!!
