Cool my mecham experience

i ordered a mecham wing for my V6 camaro just because i have too much money (or so i am told) and this is my story.

the pictures on the website dont do it a bit of justice. from the website it looks like a 93-97 SS spoiler, but it actually is very different - it is taller and sticks out more pass the hatch. if you are familiar with the TA wing then you know what i mean by it sticking out more pass the hatch. it is way different from the SS spoiler- imo.

well the the darn thing is way expensive and the paint and body shop said it had a thin hairline crack, but nothing i should worry about. ok, i believe them. then when it is time to instal, the hardware that it was sent with was the wrong hardware. the paint and body shop said they had to redrill the holes and use thier bolts cause mecham's didnt even fit. oh well, i believe them again.

but for $239 i got it painted and installed and it looks SWEEEEET
so anybody ever wondering about mechams fitment, it is superb! and the wing looks BAD AZZ.

btw, it is pronounced ME ***.

Did they have to take any material off the spoiler to get it to fit? I'm getting the same spoiler

I love it cause its just like a 98+ spoiler but it doesnt have those 2 posts in the middle

they did have to sand it down. it is not like the SS spoilers. it is a lot taller and it comes out 2-3 inches farther than the original spoiler. but yes, i do know what you are saying, somewhat similar, but really different and cool.
