Moving to Houston area

Me and the wife are moving to the Houston area during the summer. Is there an F-body organization or anything? I found one message board but it seemed pretty dead. So what are some of the events or tracks out that way? Thanks.

HA... are there any f-bodies in houston......

that's like asking is there a steelers fan in pittsburgh...

I've seen more f-bodies in the city of houston than any other city I've been in.

Haha, I know there are F-bodies there. I was asking if there are any clubs or organizations in that area. I found Houston F-body.org but it seemed a little dead.

there are so many car clubs in Houston it's insane. I honestly think you could find an '83 camaro club in Houston if you tried hard enough. Houston f body has been slow for a while, but there is still plenty to do here. We have two tracks (Baytown and Sealy)and plenty of cruise nights. There is a cruise on the north side and a cruise on the south side, each with about 300 cars in the summer every saturday.

The Houston F-Body site is long since dead. HTR sucks too nowadays. HPD is good. Has a very active community and the last big cruise pulled in over 200 cars of all types, domestics, imports, trucks, bikes, Porsche, 1 lone Ferrari, we had it all. Theres always an event in the making over there. Dyno day is coming up at Strictly Performance in about 2 weeks now too.

Where abouts are you moving to?
