Anybody know how stringent the Motorplex will be on tech at an event like SLP Day?

I have a 95 Formula I hope to run...it has already ran a 12.07@120mph...and will have much more in it with the new rearend under the car. With Welds and the sound of the motor, etc...it will be relatively obvious it is not a high 12-second low 13 second car.

I know I probably wouldn't be able to get a second pass with out at least a bar...but what about passing tech and getting one pass?

The car will get a bar...just don't have time for SLP Day and I wanna come down from OKC and run at Ennis at least once...and if it is free even better.

I don't think you will have a problem getting teched in. Last time there were so many cars they really didn't look at anything. In fact I don't think the inspector came withing 40 ft. of my car.

But Ennis has always been strict on roll cages, run one eleven second pass and you will most likely be done for the day.

 

I always, without fail have to go through tech twice out there. They do the once over looking for whatever and then I make a pass and they check for the cage, current harness dates and the battery junk being tight. Speaking of that my harness is expired

I will give it a shot...at the least I get to watch everyone else race. At best I get one good pass. Think they will hassle me if I get on brakes and sand bag? I may do that a couple of times until I feel I have a good hard launch and then I may just stand in it all the way through.
