McKinney, Texas :People in or near, PLEASE READ

Thanks for reading this post!

I have a car that came from McKinney Texas. I bought it wrecked. I also believe that it was a victim of theft not for sure though. It is a 2000 Black WS6 Trans Am. It had Eibach springs on it and it had s Spec Stage III clutch, cam, not sure if it had p/p heads or not. Does anyone know the original owner or may have ever seen this car before. It also had really really dark tint all the way around and it had an aftermarket exhaust on it. The car was delivered around 8/2000 and was a one owner car. Rumor is that the guy put over $7500 in aftermarket options and engine mods. I want to know for sure what all is done to it. Oh yeah, if this helps, it was purchased from Evans Pontiac in Dallas.

I have no clue how big this city is so this may be a dumb question.

Any help would be appreciated, it's very important to me

All the cities down there are so close together its like one big city, but I think Mckinney is pretty big. Have you contact the dealership, they can probably tell you who trade it to them. Is it legal for them to sell a car with the odometer fixed whether it's wrecked or not?

Have the dealership run the vin number and they should know who bought it. TXDOT can run the vin and give you the name on the last title registration. DPS can run the vin for stolen, but you take the chance of them taking the car and you losing anything you paid for it.

No, you guys misunderstood me! I buy these cars wrecked out of texas. They come from insurance auctions. The reason for me mentioning that it was possibly stolen was to set off any ideas in anyone's head that might remember one being stolen from this area. It was also missing some interior components and came with 4 different wheels on it. Of course this stuff could have been taken off in the insurance yard

Oh yeah, i called the dealership and it has changed hands and there are no previous records of sales, just warranty info. This car was never in his shop for service he said. I also called the state of texas and they said that they couldn't give out the info over the phone and i would have to mail in DOT form 275 and $3.10 and they would give me that info
Thanks,
Jonathan
