I have a black, functional ram air hood for an LT1 T/A for sale along with a factory ram air box. The paint on the hood is in great condition, with only a few minor chips and a small and hardly visible crack. Asking $500 obo for it all.

good god, what happened to that car the hoods sitting on? The hood wasn't on that car when it got wrecked right? lol. Anyway, my friends looking for one for his formula so i bet he'll take it off your hands, i'll PM you my number so we can work something out.

I have a cam with matching springs, locks, and retainers, hardened pushrods, stock untouched LT1 heads, stock LS1 intake and throttle body, C5 Corvette wagon wheels that have been sandblasted and are ready for paint or powdercoat. Maybe a few other things but I'd have to look

 

What kind of cam and springs? How many miles on them?

 

CM-612 Valve springs (fit stock head without machining) good to .600” lift
Ultra Lightweight Chromoly Valve Spring Retainers
Hardened valve locks
XE 227/233 cam with a 560/569 lift on a 1.6rr (114lsa)
7.2 Hardened Pushrods
Pro Magnum 1.6rr with matching poly locks

Used about 3000 miles then changed it up again.

But that may take a little convincing because I kind of wanted to put it in my Brothers T/A

 

Yeah i don't think I want to do any trades. I am really looking for cash. Wanting to save some money, get rid of the lt1, buy me a little 95 or so civic to drive while i am savin some more money to get me an ls1.

 

Who made the hood - any fitment issues? Also do you have pics of the crack?

 

I am not sure who made the hood but there were no fitment issues. No I don't have a pic of the crack.

 

if i had to guess i would guess it is a harwood hood with the scoops cut out. but that would just be a guess
