A group of Marauder guys said they'd be coming to the track on Hallsville's board. Then Bob, Phil and myself thought it would be cool to race them. I've also invited other impalas from East Texas. Now Shelley is letting us have a lane to do some racing between the 2 groups.

If anybody wants to watch some pretty quick big body cars race, then come on out If anybody has a friend with a car like this, then tell them to come out and race.

Other cars on the same platforms are welcome also. Caprice, Roadmaster, Fleetwood, Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, etc.

Impalassforum.com is up and running. They were down for upgrades few a few days over Thanksgiving.

 

Strange....I still can't get the forum section to come up. I just get page cannot be displayed error. The other links on the website seem to work fine. It hasn't worked for me since they started the maint.

 

You might want to try emailing 4DRSS and see if his Impy is going. That thing's a beast!

The www.impalassforum.com webpage does open but I'm having trouble with the forums section at the bottom of the page under "GO TO:"

After I click on where is says "Forums" I get the page cannot be displayed error.

It could just be my company Internet access. I've tried it from several computers and get the same thing.

Yes!

Funny the URL is almost the exact same as the one that brings up the page cannot be displayed error. The only difference is the "u" in "ultimatebb.cgi"

The "u" is capitalized in the URL online and that seems to be why it won't come up, because if I change it to a lowercase "u" it comes right up. Weird...

Oh well...I'm in now! THANKS!

how did that race turn out?

 

we had 6 Marauders show up and 5 Impalas. 2 of the impalas were in the 12s, mine was running 13.6s and the other was running 13.8s. The quickest Marauder ran 14.3, so we decided against heads up racing. 3 of the Marauders got in the brackets against all 5 impalas. 1 Marauder made it to the semis and Rick Bagnard won the overall. 1 of the Marauder guys had transmission problems.

The most important thing was we ALL had a great time! The Marauder guys promised to come back with more members and more power next year. By then, I'll probably have my stroker in the car
