Between 10 and 50 bucks. Depending on which county you car is registered in. Mine use to be $10 and now it is $50. However, there are a few "drive in" place that will do it for around $100. Those are the best places to find if you don't think you'll pass.

you gotta be careful and get a hookup from the right person...sometimes a 20 dollar hookup can cause you a world of pain!

if you look at the new inspection stickers they have bar codes on the bottom or top..can't remember...this is used to keep track of them incase they are stolen or given out illegally....if these ID#'s are not reported as put on a car it comes up as stolen and if you were to get busted for getting one of these on a car that wasn't supposed to and they see the sticker comes up as "stolen" then it can get ugly...

the guy I get my hook up from explained this to me and said that alot of hookups are actually where the guy stole one from the bunch and then afterwards they report as stolen but still put on your car....

Whenever I question whether my car will pass or not, I just usually go to one of the places on the rough side of town. 1/2 the time they don't even bother to check the car out other than the essentials (lights/horn). As long as it's a newer car and looks nice/isn't overly loud or modified looking, you will probably pass and not have to pay more than the $15 (I think that's how much I paid last time here in San Antonio).

If you want the details on where I go, just PM me.

Good luck!
