If every thing works out I will be going there next weekend and just curious how far the drive? Is it as far as Houston? I hated that drive!! when you get to Tyler, how far is it? Also what is the best route to take going through Dallas or avoiding it.

 

Shreveport to Dallas is about a 2.5 hour drive if that tells you anything.

 

It takes around 5 hours if I remember correctly. That is only stopping a few times. Pretty fun there, but it just doesn't compare to Vegas.
