how do u do a cutout?

sup? i heard this TA last night..and all that he had done to his exhaust was a cutout..how do u do a cut out?? ive heard alot about it...anyone wanta do it for me or can tell me how...im in san antonio..thanks...

Its actually a part that you replace in your exhaust. You weld this in and it will bypass the muffler. It does require welding.

those are for mustangs...where can i get the one for a lt1 z28...and also about how much $ would i be lookin to spend to get it put on?!?

Summit Racing has 3" exhaust cutouts for $27 + shipping.

Here's where I installed mine.


I had a muffler shop weld it in. It will make it really loud, and may become annoying for daily driving.

You may want to invest in an electric plate for it too. This will allow you to open and close it from inside the car. Believe me, it gets old crawling under the car to uncap it every time.

I agree! I don't have one, but I wish I did! They sound awesome. So what if you lose your hearing at an exponential rate? Who needs it?
