Soo, they pretty strict over there? I'm looking for work that way and just wondering... My car has !air, !egr, gutted cats, cc305, long tubes and runs kinda rich. heh..

 

My car actually passed the sniffer test here without a cat (I think). Since you are OBDII, they'll just plug your car in and check for error codes (again, I think). This would make it more difficult to hide modifications. Hopefully someone will reply that knows some about tuning your ECM to satisfy the inspector's computer, if it can be done. Although, you may pass, I'm not sure what the computer looks for in an OBDII scan. Passing visuals would be a matter of picking the right shop. There's only about a million of them here and they run the gambit from ultra clean by the book corporate outfits to shell companies for drug smuggling. You could probably find someone who will find your car to be in complete compliance without having to look too hard.

But just so the black helicopters don't come get me, you shouldn't break the law.

 

As long as your Check Engine light isnt on, you will pass the OBDII testing. Now you could fail visual inspection: !air... As long as it looks like it has a cat it will pass. They visual inspect mostly everything and look for certain things, and i know air pumps are one of them.

I could rig up something for air. but then again, air and egr has been programmed out, so I dont know what all they look for when they hookup to the computer.
