Houston Area Engine Swap

Anyone in the H-town/CS(or ~120 miles) area interested in doing an engine swap? It's a 95 z-28 LT1(comming out) and a 97 LT1 will be going in. The work that has to be done includes taking the knock sensor out of the 95 block and putting it in the 97, install lt4 KM, the new engine will have LT's, the optispark cover needs to be attached to the new optispark unit, water pump neck needs to be put on new water pump and a tranny cooler needs to be ran. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks a ton.
JOHN

Bring the car to Dallas and I will do it cheap I could easily have you in and out in a day. Just throw the motor in the backseat

Seriously though...LMK. I might could possibly come to you if you have a place to do it. Cory

Cory, actually I was going to originally come up to Dallas to get it done, but I haven't heard from in about 3 months and I can't get through to him...and his name was Cory. I just don't think I can make it up there, for I am busy as ever with work now. If everything would of been done when I thought it was when I was unemployed and could go anywhere, then I would of been all over it. Also, I don't have a place to do it in h-town. Thanks for the offer though.

LOL...that was me John email... coneill@buchanan.com

I remember having many discussions about the swap with you and then you stopped replying to my emails and I gave up. I think thats what happened.

Goodluck with the swap, and I hope you find someone to do it cheap b/c a shop is gonna charge around $900-1000

Cory

Hmmm...I've tried to email you a ton of times and it gets returned right back to me because it said you wouldn't accept messages from "****" related sites...from 3 email addresses. So, I pmed you in mid June. You read them and haven't been on that screen name, CoryB, since the 26th of June, so I thought you must have taken off Oh well...did you get your shop up yet? I might be able to take a road trip on one weekend if I can get the time. I'll just have to find a way to get the engine up there.

John, sorry about all that...I got a my SS and wanted to change screennames and it screwed everything up. My email has always been jacked. Stupid company filters Anyway everything should be straight now. I havnt opened my shop b/c I got married in Aug. and that cost $$$...so I'm still doing side work out of a garage

Hopefully we can work something out. I was looking to visit some friends in that area and could swing by and get the engine. Then you could follow me back or something. I'm sure we could figure something out. TTYL...Cory
