There is a hostage situation right now less than a block from were I am at... A lady beat up her 80 year old mother and now is barracaded in the house. Its been going on since this afternoon.... I just got home barely, driving in a back area that is not blocked off...

The cops are just waiting her out....

 

Update: Still going on, she is armed.....

where are you located in B/CS? I'm in South CS and we don't get local channels (stupid *** satellite!) so I know nothing of this. Crazy.

 

It's over, but I dont know the outcome..... I was hoping to see something happen, but I left and just got back, everone is gone... Everything back to normal..... I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow to see what happened...

As far as the "smiley", I was glad at least my tax dollars wasnt going to waste with all the cops here sitting around doing nothing... I would have been upset if she wasnt armed and the cops didnt move in sooner...
