Hey Shawn S.

This is Lance white 96 T/A
Didnt you just get finished building your new motor, and is it still a 355c.i if you dont mind what is the details on the motor and what has been some of your best runs with the 355 old and or new 355.
Im trying to find out what i should be running with my 355, here is just a few details.
.30 over LT1
6" H beam rods
11 to 1 pistons
Ported LT1 heads w/ 2.02 / 1.60 valves they flowed around 265 to 270 cfm A .550 lift
Ported LT1 intake
306 cam
1.6 RR's
52 mm TB
30# inj.
OBD1 PCM by pcmforless.com
TH-350 w/ 8" converter
4.56 gears
Plus all the bolt-ons of course true duals no cats etc..
The car has about 300 to 400#'s taken out of it and the best time with a 2400 converter was a 7.80 at 90mph w/ a 1.74 60ft. But i just put in the new converter it will stall to 3500 no prob. should pick up a tenth or two.
Do these times sound slow or they about right, and how do they compare to your times with the 355
Im going to the track tommorow night to see how much the converter, front hal/QA1 springs and shocks and relo brackets will gain. maybe some 7.60's at 91 or so with 1.6 or 1.5 60ft's
Thanks man
