Hey SA Fbody dudes... I'm still around...

Just wanted to pop in and say "Hey!".

Still up here in North Dallas. Miss SA though.

We got rid of the 2001 'Stang GT and just picked up an '03 Cobra.

Need to find a local dyno up this way to get a baseline on the Cobra and re-dyno the '02 CE WS6.

Jose-- How are things going at GS ?

Bloodztone -- Sorry to hear about the car problems.

Slvrbird2000 -- Holy Cow! ... how'd the door get munched ?

the right formula - Damn man... sorry I had to leave SA before getting to see the finished car. When we spoke at the Mustang Extreme place your car was not yet done.

Hey Martin!

Nice catch there on the 03 Snake. Seems that things are going very well for you folks up in D/FW.

As for the door, was an interesting story. (I am here in College Station now) I was out on Highway 6, following a guy on his Yamaha R1. I was in the left lane, he was a few lengths ahead in the right lane. He pulled a wheelie and flipped backwards, and was thrown off of his bike. I pulled over onto the shoulder, and a passenger got out of his door. No more than 4 seconds later some 18 year old came racing through the few stopped cars behind us and took my door with him. Kyle (my passenger) was lucky that he was not taken with the door. He was standing at the right fender in front of the wheel. Good thing that GM put in the side steel bar, otherwise Kyle would have been dragged. We got his plates though, and I got the settlement money. Door is fixed now and doesn't scrape on the fender like it used to. Was a PITA not having the car though.

Good to hear from you, and take care.

Scott

Holy Cow. Did they find the guy ? He should be arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. That's crazy.

Hey Martin, glad to hear things are going well. I've been keeping up with your posts on stangnet. Glad to hear about the new car, I'm sure you both will get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Ah... a stangnet viewer huh ?

I'm still not a ford fan... my heart is all GM. We got the '01 GT because my wife worked for a company that had a "fleet pricing" deal with Jennings Anderson Ford in Boerne.

When we first started talking about getting a Cobra, my wife told me we should keep the '01 GT and sell the CE WS6 for the Cobra.... but I could not deal with owning two Fords ... my Hypocrisy goes only so far !

Hey Martin...glad to hear things are going well up north! Damn, a new Cobra!! SWEEEEEET

As far as my car, the h/c package I bought has been performing pretty well...also put a ported Holley intake on it over the summer. The newest addition will be a 6 point wolfe cage. I'm having some electrical problems which hopefully will be solved this weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing Ben's tailights when his car is all done.

Take care and hope to see you in SA again!!
