What type of headers? Do you just want the headers installed, or also the ypipe, OVC wires? Anything else. I would be willing to do your header swap for you this Sunday. Let me know

I should be able to doit for you this Sunday. Just let me know. I will honor that price of 175.00 and need your car for about 6 hours or so. How are you planning on running your spark plug wires? I would recommend doing the Over-The-Valve cover way, but we could also run them in the stock location? Do you already have the EGR block off plates? If not, we should be able to fab them up with some scrap aluminum. Is your PCM going to be flashed for the header install? If not, it is not a big deal, but your car will be in limp mode. Not a big deal once you get he EGR and AIR codes deleted from the PCM. I am going to be in meetings this afternoon, so call me tommorow afternoon (Friday Dec. 12th) if you want for me to do your install. My home phone number is 972-668-8261 and I live in Frisco. So you can drive your car over to my place and drop it off or stay and chill with me and my work crew.
Thanks and let me know
Matt

Oh, and what kind of header bolts and header gaskets are you planning on using? And are you going to run O2 simms for the rear cats or just have them deleted out of the PCM when you have the EGR and AIR removed? Let me know

I'm going to have the O2's deleted out when I have the PCM tuned...I will need to have the block off plates fabbed up...I don't have any header bolts, do you happen to have any I could get from you? I have some gaskets that came with the TPiS LT's I got from this guy...do you have any better ones?

Nah I don't have any. I would recommend either the Felpro 1406 (I believe is the part number) if you are on a budget or you could get the Mr. Gasket Copper gaskets. Either will do fine. In the Jegs catalog, the Mr Gasket ones are part number 720-7154

As for the header bolts I would recommend the ARP 12 point header bolts. I am not sure what the part number is for these. I know they are a 3/8 but I am also not sure what the length is. If you do a search on this site, I am sure you could find the length and part number.

And I know that Speedtek in Dallas and Hurst sell both of these items, the header bolts and the gaskets.

Just call me tommorow afternoon and let me know if you need me to do this for you. If for some reason you don't get a hold of me, just leave a message and I will get back in touch with you that evening.
Thanks
Matt

Yes I want you to do it on Sunday...I'm definitely up for it! Thanks for all of your help...I'll be dropping my car off after church on Sunday...I'll be up in Denton visiting my fiance so well just make the drive...

My cell is 936.870.5062 and my name is Doug. Thanks again!

btw, a buddy of mine told me that he used a set of $6 header bolts from Advance Auto on his Jet-Hot's...which are supposed to hold ~9383 lbs...I'm not too keen on spending the $40 for Stage 8's...$6 sounds good to me....what do you think?

Those should be fine. Hopefully they are 12 point, but if not that is not a big deal. What kind of header gaskets are you planning on using?
I get off work Sunday morning at about 10a.m. so anytime after that should be fine. I will try and call you tommorow evening (friday). But if for some reason I cant get in touch with you then, I will definately call you Saturday.

And you do want me to run your wires in the stock location, correct?

I haven't had the time nor the tools to take on a header install myself. That plus my duplex doesn't have a cover of any sort so there really wasn't any way I could have done them myself.

Now that I'm going back home, around College Station, I'm going to have my buddy Darrell (FastWhiteTA) assist me with the install next Saturday. So that'll save some $$$, minus a case of beer of course...
