Post Has North Texas Raceway Re-opened?

Does anyone know if the track in Denton has re-opened yet? I went to thier website, but it hasn't been updated since April. Is it still 1/8 mile? What is the schedule? I want to get new times.

Thanks in advance for any information.

i went last night. The track looks nice, the lights are nice, no bleachers and i could NOT hook up. i have seriously hooked up better on the street with no burnout than some of the runs last night. my 60ft. ranged from 2.3-2.6 with small---no burn out on underinflated Nittos(15psi). FYI--At a well prepped track i usually go 1.8-1.95. i like denton and plan to go give it a try again next week, but they have seriously got to work something out.

Are you saying the Denton track is closed down too? The Walters, OK track is closed down right now. I guess I will have to drive to Alaska to find a race track now.

Denton was closed for about 1 month, but opened back up a few weeks ago. They remodeled everything. The reason the track sucks is because there is not enough rubber laid down yet. It will take a few months of racing for the track to get 'broken in'. Eventually, it should hook awesome like Redline. Until then I'll be going to Kennedale on Sunday afternoons.
