A few friends and I are looking to go tubing this saturday on the Guadalupe or Comal. I was just curious if anyone knew of any good spots where we can tube all day then set up camp overnight. Cheap too.

And if anyone else want to join in, this is an open invite.

 

not sure of a camping area, but we usually float starting by schlitterbahn's park, where corner tubes is, and float down for a few hrs, post up , drink a little, u know how it is, im sure you can prob just keep on floating down and maybe fine some camping areas?? ?? goodluck have fun man, floating the river + drinking+ hot girls..always good times

 

just got a call from a friend, sound like i will be in the guadalupe sat., i'll be the fat guy with white legs.

 

yeah i know a place. go up river road toward canyon lake and you will see alot of camping and its right on the river and you can tube till your little heart content. i recommend sun block with a spf of 1000 yes 1000.




and brad (viperkiller94) aka (plain ole viperkiller). those white legs will be red. when when get back sat.

 

i'll need to remember to turn over to keep from burning on one side, keep an even burn.

 

Im working all day, but if i know Dustin (Dwray) he would be down for some tubing before work.

 

Well we went to a spot right under 281 at the guadalupe, it was $11 per person then $5 for a cooler tube. So last week I went out and just bought some tubes. We might be going again the weekend of the 4th, and again, everyone who wants to go is more than welcome.

 

ya im heading back out to the river tomorrow, but where did you buy ur tubes at? i got mine froms some little cheap tire shop, but they arent as big as others, are ur big? how much were they?

 

I got mine from wal-mart. They're actually more like pool tubes, but made from a thicker rubber and they're pretty big with a rope that goes around 'em for tying tubes together. Only $9 too. Then I just bought a car inner tube to fabricate a beer-cooler float.

 

if yall are serious about getting together and toobing on july 4th weekend post up im always up for another trip i know i can get a few more poeple. and ill leave my wife at home.


seriously post up we can float where ever yall want, comal or the quadalupe. i usually get in at the rockin R in greune.

Sounds good. This weekend my brother-in-law is gonna be in town and we're going tubing on Saturday around 1 or so. We'll probably go to that spot on the Guadalupe under 281 unless anyone knows any better places. And as always, the more the merrier.
